Canadian designer BEN BARBER deserved its place in the blog a long time ago! His collection of furniture is reminiscent of micro-architecturesexploring the impact and power of forms on our minds. Ben Barber simplifies the complexity, makes it affordable and soothes it by the affixing of reassuring colors, which everyone can appropriate. Efficient pieces, whose purity makes us want them... for sure.

Lately, BINGQILEE DESIGN has presented the collection Minimal YI for her graduation project at Central Saint Martins in London. A delicate project that recalls the design of the 80s In a period where sculptural and massive design is the norm, even a light line can make a statement!

in Shanghai, last spring, the interior designer DARIA ZINOVATNAYA created an ephemeral popup store for the ready-to-wear brand Jane Plus VVNK. As usual, she combines materials and colors to create wall elements like fabric patchworks. If the designer accompanies the brand with strong visual elements, they are no less the codes that she conveys herself in her own projects.

The incredible collection Framemust was born from the minds of two design students in Bangkok, FEMME ATELIER. An elementary collection where the grace of the effect gradient Acrylic panels meet a coloured metal structure, which is in perfect harmony with the chosen shades. A work on the notion of barrier, limit, and the game of seen/unseen... Good work.

Currently at the gallery FRIEDMAN BENDAin New York and until July 27th, you can see the exhibition Fruiting Habits, by designer JONATHAN TRAYTE who reveals his past as a sculptor, proposing objects and furniture that are actually both familiar and enigmatic. As our very dear everyday objects had simply mutated...

The interior design agency LUCAS Y HERNANDEZ-GIL has recently designed the interior of the Juana Limón Café, in Madrid, which design perfectly reflects what is happening there, between pastries, tart dishes and other delicacies... It is interesting to see how the architects renew the coffee style, with the latest dark colors. Return to the essentials, the cleansing and the cleanliness relative to the universe of the pastry so, with pastel colors and elementary materials.

The Ukrainian duo comprised of SERGEY MAKHNO and IHOR HAVRYLENKO struck again, proposing the lamp TartufiThis was inspired by the underground mushrooms that never see the light of day... A nod to the very function of this object, which is indeed a floor lamp! Nice item.
