Virtual interior designer Massimo Colonna made a stunning 3D image series forAtelier Avéus. Highlighting the Non-Objective Table, and inspired by the supremacists paintings of the early twentieth century, the images cast doubt about the reality of gravity and perspective... A beautiful association combining the world of contemporary furniture design and virtual interiors.

For Gray Matters, in Brooklyn, the multidisciplinary studio Bower designed a very minimal store whose great impact is because of the studio's attention to detail. Indeed, the American designers have designed the envelope of the shoe shore like all the furniture in here. Focusing as usual their formal choices on simplicity, the colorful shades are skilfully chosen in order to bring the necessary balance between originality and light sophistication, which goes with this place that one can approach by appointment only...

The wealth of Instagram is endless. It is with the utmost pleasure that we've recently discovered the fabulous work of Camilla D'Anunziata, and her collection Splendor Solis. The work of Brazilian designer is complex and mystical, and relies on her practice of energetic and quantum therapies for self-knowledge. Her collection reinvents the spiritual and strong symbolic aesthetics and is inspired by a visual treatise on alchemy published in the sixteenth century... Her work is happening in three phases, the latter being the first. We look forward to the ongoing series...

Jinyeong Yeon, Mideum Han and Jae Yoon Park Have created a series of conceptual furniture related to the violence of modern society. In turn welded, bent, distorted, Abused Objects Refer to the abuses that men inflict on their environment, the objects, but also and unfortunately the living beings. A dark guideline but a very interesting work on the part of the Korean designers.

Gina Tricot is a fashion brand that has become familiar in the fashion landscape of Stockholm. Also, to revitalize the atmosphere of its shops and restore freshness to its sale points, what could be more natural than to appeal to the talented designers of Note Design Studio. Thanks to contemporary materials such as hammered aluminum and iridescent glass, the studio has successfully managed to settle down the brand in its contemporary base, offering a simple but singular interior design.

 

 

Sasha Burchuk

The designer Sasha Burchuk – Founder of New Age Design Studio – recently unveiled her latest collection of functional objects, Epicureans. Comprised of Terrazzo vases and candelabras, the collection, whose staging takes some Greek mythology airs, is inspired by the Memphis Movement. Working with the clear intention of unveiling the metaphysical and mystical aspects of everyday objects, the designer has chosen a Terrazzo with the inclusion of semi-precious stones, so that functional objects become sacred. Nice work.

At the request ofAdidas, Dutch designer Simone Post designed a collection of rugs entirely made of recycled materials from old sports shoes. And at his request, I:CO, the company in charge of collecting and transforming this waste separated the dark tones from the light ones so that Simone's design perfectly reflects the striped brand image of Adidas. In line with contemporary design world which cares for environment, the designer offers here smart and functional products, currently present on site of the new store ofAdidas, 22 Avenue des Champs-Elysées, 75008 Paris.

The young and talented French publishing house Youth Editions recently unveiled Odyssey, a new capsule collection comprised of a desk, an armchair and a mirror. This is how we meet Marcello, Apollo and Eris, new protagonists of the French design scene more than ready to be included in the collectible design movement. Between past references to Antiquity and narrative materials such as velvet, the collection casts doubt as to the space time of its creation, and is also putting forward an immaculate brushed metal like pampered by future times...
