"A visual essay that uses carefully curated design objects to create an out-of-this-world, almost alien-like still life environment."   _Sindroms Magazine

What if Mars is populated? Scientists persist in believing that such a planet, so familiar, can only shelter life, and despite a hostile environment in all respects, the misty and red atmosphere of Mars fascinates us. It is by imagining life or rather its result that the writing of Sindroms Magazine – Miruna Sorescu and Ausra Babiedaite – created a new space-time in its first publication, Red Sindrom: a future invented between Earth certainties (design and materiality), unknown and imaginary (life on Mars). As if this planet had the same seniority as ours, with a parralèlle history and thus the same ingenious invention: design.

It would then be easy to imagine, for example, that unlike the Earth, the only color that is allowed on Mars The red and the shades that frame it. Pink, Fushia, Burgundy and Marsala would be tolerated when all others were non-existent and even prohibited. That the inhabitants, similar to human beings, would also have red skin and clothes. And that in the tumult of their evolution they are the ones who invented Muuto, Hay, Normann Copenhagen and Skagerak.

"Nothing but space in an unknown place, yet so familiar. The home of raw and untouched beauty where the elements bloom and grow, develop and flourish without a trace of life. "   _Sindroms Magazine
