We don't really know the countries of In the Eastespecially in terms of design. That's why I thought it would be interesting to highlight the design of the new offices of Vizor Interactives, redesigned by the architects of STUDIO 11which have brilliantly combined certain codes borrowed from the former USSR to a deeply contemporary and unique universe. Welcome to Belarus!

THE BEAUTY OF CONTRADICTIONS

What we like most about this project is the intelligence of STUDIO 11 in the way it brings opposites together. First of all, it should be taken into account that an architect is generally "slave" of the place that is entrusted to him. A place does not evolve in the same way whether it is a Parisian flat or, as here, an industrial building.

But the Belarusian studio has more than one trick up his sleeve in this respect, and has managed to create the right mix between certain codes of the former Soviet bloc (red, green, the thoroughness of lines) and clearly contemporary elements and which are the trends of today. This brilliantly struck balance between black and white, cold and warm met également en avant des influences vintage influences The design is based on the use of a variety of materials, such as walnut veneer and tubular structures.

STUDIO 11 also brings a kind of balance between a place that one might think is sanitized and the grain of madness that goes with it. Quite simply between the inert material and the living, by cleverly adding some plants in a place where they would not normally have their place or a bit of lightness in this world of heavies.

STYLE, EFFICIENCY, BOLDNESS

STYLE. In the beginning was black, a shade of shadow that the studio of Minsk This is a project with industrial and metallic origins. The style is pure, counterbalanced by white. These two opposites give a graphic and therefore very contemporary look to these premises, especially thanks to the use of earthenware that brings texture, depth, and minimalism in the art of renovating a workspace.

EFFECTIVENESS. Next was wood, which was cleverly distributed between the kitchen and the open space. As mentioned above, the aim is to balance the coldness of the neutrals with a living, vibrant material that warms the hearts of the occupants in a flash. Who better than wood to fullfill this role, binding the whole project?

DARING. Finally was red, the colour which is without a doubt very difficult to install in an interior without driving these guests completely mad. But just like the nuance of the year 2017 GreeneryFortunately, there is not just one shade in a colour. The choice of Studio 11 The choice of colour was made for a red that is sometimes burgundy in the light, sometimes wine red. This is a reminder of the project's geographical location without weighing it down with the weight of history.
