This is what has experienced the design studio An Aesthetic Pursuit, based in Brooklyn, creating a new collection of furniture directly inspired by the graphic codes of sports. Indeed, if the lines drawn have at first glance the function of visual cues in order to enforce the rules, the designer Jenny Kaplan divert them, precisely to transgress those of design.
Composed of coffee tables and dining, stools and many rug Mixing patterns and colors that are both familiar and utopian, the collection Pieces collection revealed a very curvy design design styles, with lines and lightness.
With this collection, An Aesthetic Pursuit creates much more than formal objects but more like an experience that everyone can perceive differently according to their vision of the sporting universe. Moreover, if the rendering is pleasant, the manufacturing technique is also fascinating. For the trays of tables with circular patterns, these are in fact printed forms in laminate and slipped between two pieces of glass... all for a very elegant rendering. The collection is part of the movement of an American Design very sculptural and recognizable among many others, which always brings more possibilities to our visual field of creative.
